PP sheet (polypropylene sheet) is a semi-crystalline plastic sheet made primarily of polypropylene through processes such as extrusion molding. Its hardness is higher than polyethylene (PE), and its melting point is superior. PP sheets are mainly classified as follows:

Pure PP sheet: Low density, easy to weld and process, with excellent chemical resistance, heat resistance, and impact resistance. It is non-toxic and odorless, making it one of the most environmentally friendly engineering plastics currently available.

Extruded polypropylene (PP) sheet: A general-purpose plastic sheet made through processes such as extrusion, calendering, cooling, and cutting.

Glass fiber reinforced PP sheet (FRPP sheet): Reinforced with 20% glass fiber, its strength and rigidity are doubled compared to pure PP. It has good heat resistance, low-temperature impact resistance, corrosion resistance, arc resistance, and low shrinkage.

Foamed PP sheet: A new type of lightweight material made using supercritical carbon dioxide gas foaming technology, with a density range of 0.10-0.70 g/cm³ and a thickness of 1-20mm.

PP Hollow Core Board/Hollow Grid Board: With a grid-shaped cross-section, it is lightweight, non-toxic, pollution-free, waterproof, shockproof, and corrosion-resistant, with a service life 4-10 times longer than corrugated cardboard.

Q3: How does a PP board machine (extrusion production line) work?

The working principle of a PP board machine is to heat and melt PP granules, then push them through an extruder screw to a die for forming. After cooling, shaping, and cutting, PP boards are produced. The complete process flow is as follows: mixing → feeding → heating and plasticizing → extrusion molding → cooling → cutting → packaging. The core equipment is a single-screw extruder or a twin-screw extruder. By adjusting the screw speed and heating temperature, pipes, sheets, films, and other products can be produced stably.
